• The low weight is achieved through in-mold construction, where the outer shell is thermally bonded to the Hi-EPS material. This results in a stable surface bond that ensures a very robust structure. The lower edge of the helmet is protected by an additional polycarbonate shell. The back of the head and temple areas are extended downwards for maximum safety, providing greater head coverage.
  
  
• In the event of a fall with an angled impact, Mips helps reduce rotational forces on the head. Large ventilation openings ensure optimal air circulation, insect nets keep annoying insects out, and the visor offers additional protection in the field of vision.
  
  
• The Run System Classic, combined with the height-adjustable Custom Fit function, allows for a perfect fit of the helmet to the head. For added visibility, the optional Multi-Fit Light rear light can be attached to the Apax Jr. Mips.
