Alpina Apax Mips
The Apax Mips is an all-rounder for off-road riding and is among the lightest helmets in its category. The Run System Ergo Flex, combined with Hi-EPS and Mips, ensures maximum comfort and safety. The adjustment system boasts a delicate design and secures the helmet evenly around the head in a 360-degree fit. A bicycle helmet simply can't be adjusted more individually, smoothly, or comfortably. Another plus for comfort: the removable padding. It guarantees a comfortable fit at all times – no matter how hot the terrain gets.
The Apax Mips's low weight is achieved through in-mold construction, where the outer shell is thermally bonded to the Hi-EPS. This creates a strong, seamless connection, resulting in a very stable structure. The lower edge of the helmet is protected by an additional polycarbonate shell. Thanks to the Seamless Connection, it fits snugly against the outer shell. For maximum safety on rough trails, the rear and temple areas extend further down, providing even greater head coverage.
In the event of a fall with an angled impact, Mips is designed to help reduce rotational forces acting on the head. Large ventilation openings ensure optimal airflow, insect screens keep insects away from the head, and the height-adjustable visor provides additional protection in the field of vision.
