The Apax Jr. Mips is inspired by the adult model. This MTB helmet offers all young mountain bikers the best possible protection off-road. Mips included. Its light weight, Mips technology, extensive head coverage, long list of features, and attractive price make the Apax Jr. Mips a must-have for anyone who loves riding off-road.
The low weight is achieved through in-mold manufacturing, in which the outer shell is thermally bonded to the Hi-EPS. This creates a strong surface connection, resulting in a very stable construction. The lower edge of the helmet is protected by an additional polycarbonate shell. The rear and temple areas extend far down for maximum safety, providing even greater head coverage.
In the event of an angled impact, the Mips helmet is designed to help reduce rotational forces acting on the head. Large ventilation openings ensure optimal airflow, insect screens keep insects away, and the visor provides additional protection for the rider's eyes. The Run System Classic, combined with the height-adjustable Custom Fit, allows the helmet to be adjusted to the rider's head. The Apax Jr. Mips can also be optionally retrofitted with the Multi-Fit Light rear light for improved visibility.
