The PowerMore can only be used if the manufacturer has approved it for the respective eBike, otherwise the battery will not function.
Important information about the PowerMore 250!
Requirements for retrofitting:
The software of the eBike must be prepared by the bicycle manufacturer (“PowerMore Ready”). This also defines the hardware required for this, e.g. reinforced thread inserts to meet the safety standards of Bosch eBike Systems. You can use DiagnosticTool 3 or the display or Flow app to check whether the requirements for retrofitting the PowerMore 250 are met.
Charge-on-Bike Socket must be compatible with PowerMore 250 (all Charge-on-Bike Sockets from MY23).
All eBike components require the latest software version
Portable energy reserve: The PowerMore 250 is a compact additional battery, about the size of a water bottle, and provides additional range. Weighing only 1.6 kilograms, the range extender can be easily attached to the water bottle holder.
The range extender is compatible with PowerTubes and CompactTubes of the smart system.
