These super-tough axles are engineered to Fox's exact specifications and machined from 7075 aluminum. Unlike any other fork axles on the market, these feature a unique dual hex design. This includes the traditional 6mm hex that everyone is familiar with, but also an additional 8mm hex key. This "get out of jail" feature makes removal easier if the 6mm key has been chewed up, stripped, or left in place for a long time. We all know how annoying it is to miss a ride, and this feature should help prevent that from happening.
Using an Allen key instead of a QR connector also allows the use of a torque wrench, ensuring your wheel is properly tightened. As with all Burgtec products, it's the little details that make the difference. This axle also comes with a Grade 5 titanium compression bolt and locknut to complete the package.
