The Acid 200's heat-treated 6061 aluminum frame is as high-quality and durable as that of our adult mountain bikes - thanks to the specially shaped down tube, which was tailored precisely to the stature of young riders, it is extremely light and stable. The V-brakes on the front and rear wheels also work like those on mom or dad’s bike. And because accidents can hardly be avoided on the way to becoming a bike professional, you can easily change the derailleur hanger - so the entire frame doesn't have to be replaced after a fall.
Sometimes less is more, so the Acid 200 SL is based on the same successful formula as the Acid 200. However, with a few tricks and adjustments, we have made the bike even lighter, livelier - and higher quality. A Microshift 9-speed gearshift with 11-42T cassette and an extended gear range efficiently supports young riders on their way up, even when things get really steep. Even small children's hands can easily grasp the slimmer handlebars with grips and thus steer the bike precisely and brake safely. Grippy tires and pleasant handling round off the Acid 200 SL. No question, the kids will love it!
