New GRIP2 Damper - The benchmark for unparalleled ride quality and ultra-precise on-the-fly adjustability. Fox has taken the GRIP2 to the next level by incorporating their patented VVC technology into the high-speed compression circuit.Lower Leg Channels - Dramatically increase the volume of air in the lower legs, thereby reducing the amount of additional unintended compression ramps. Another benefit of these channels is that the lower leg bath oil circulates into the upper area of the lower legs, continuously lubricating the foam rings and bushings as the fork compresses and travels its travel.
Bleeders - Lower leg bleeders allow atmospheric pressure to be equalized at the simple push of a button. Pressure buildup in the lower legs will drastically reduce fork performance as full travel cannot be achieved and small bump sensitivity and response are compromised.
Floating axles - Although they look similar to other axles, they offer a significant performance advantage as they precisely match the width of the fork's wheel mounting surface to the front hub spacing, allowing for perfect chassis alignment and eliminating unwanted friction between the upper and lower fork legs.
Lower Leg Arch - The all-new lower leg design pulls out all the stops, saving every possible gram while ensuring that the stiffness and strength requirements of modern enduro and gravity riding are not compromised.
Elliptical Steerer - The 38's elliptical steerer is one of many ways Fox has further optimized the stiffness-to-weight ratio by using more material only where it's needed and shaving every gram where it's not needed.
