Fox Factory Kit: Mounting Hardware: Crush Washer AL 8mm

These 7-piece shock hardware kits from Fox are new for 2021. The new kits come with 2x washers with raised domed sections that are pressed before installation to measure them to the exact width of the hollow bolt in order to accommodate any play and eliminate play between the frame and the hardware.

The hardware is backward compatible with older shock absorbers, and each kit includes the bushings and hardware for one shock eyelet. Two kits are required for a complete strut assembly.

Included in the delivery:

• 1x black hollow bolt
• 2x beige flared bushings
• 2x thin O-rings
• 2x black Delrin spacers
• 2x black crush discs
• Shock mounting bolts are not included. They are frame-specific and are supplied with the bicycle.

Assembly:

Mount the flange bushings by hand or with a soft-jaw vise.
Insert the black hollow pin and center it in the damper eyelet.
Insert the O-rings into the recesses on each flange bushing.
Insert the black Delrin spacers.
Mount the black washers so that the curved parts face outwards.
Use a soft-jaw vise to squeeze the domes onto the crush discs by tightening the vise until the jaws meet the pin.
The fittings are now fully assembled and can be attached to the bicycle.

Some frames use different sizes on the front and back.
This kit does not include shock bolts. They are specific to each frame and are supplied with your bicycle.
