The Varia™ RTL516 is a StVZO-approved rear light with integrated radar technology to detect vehicles from a distance of up to 140 meters. When a vehicle approaches, the bicycle radar warns the cyclist acoustically and visually via the connected display unit or a compatible Garmin product (Edge or wearable). The slim and aerodynamic Varia RTL516 can be mounted on the seat post of racing, touring or city bikes without tools. The battery life of up to 9 hours also enables longer tours. With the Garmin Varia app, the Varia can be used directly with your smartphone for the first time and is warned of approaching vehicles.

The Varia™ RVR 315 is a radar in a compact housing to detect vehicles from a distance of up to 140 meters and to warn you. It can be attached to the seat post without tools and is compatible with Garmin devices and smartphones. You can see what's happening behind you for up to 7 hours.
