Internally ventilated disc for the V4 brake caliper
Between the two braking surfaces are slats that cool these surfaces and significantly reduce temperature increases. The system is also advantageous in wet conditions, as water quickly disappears between the braking surfaces. In laboratory tests, the discs remained 15% cooler than conventional floating discs.
