The new K-Lite Zip from ION offers knee protection for enduro-oriented riding (EN 1621-1:2012 / L1). The removable K-L1 Lite Pad offers more than just abrasion protection and easily absorbs light to medium impacts. The pre-shaped pads follow the natural shape of the knee and offer an ergonomic fit.
A seamless, abrasion-resistant layer on the front allows the protectors to slide so that they do not ride up when they come into contact with the ground. The extremely durable and tightly woven aramid material contributes to the robustness. Another contribution to protection is the side EVA padding, which absorbs shocks from the sides.
If you prefer to pedal without padding or have long uphill sections ahead of you, you can easily remove the knee pads thanks to the side zipper. This can be opened all the way so that you can remove them effortlessly.
