The Maxxis Dissector was developed in collaboration with Australian DH racer Troy Brosnan. The requirement was to minimize rolling resistance while maintaining extreme control in curves. We succeeded! The Dissector can be used as a front, pair or rear tire. Insider tip for all-mountain bikes!

Foldable bead core: Rings made of Kevlar or another aramid fiber hold the tires securely on the rim. The advantages are lower weight and easier transport due to small packing dimensions.

Tubeless Ready (TR): Tubeless tires have many advantages: You can ride with less air pressure.

This gives you better traction and reduces rolling resistance. And where there is no tube, the risk of a puncture is also reduced. Maxxis TR tires are better prepared for installation with sealant than other "tubeless ready" tires.

Like a real UST tubeless tire, the bead is completely covered with a layer of rubber. This means that tubeless installation is successful on all rims with standard dimensions, even after the first inflation and with little liquid.

E-Bike: All Maxxis tires can be used on Pedelecs / E-Bikes with support up to 25 km/h.
