POC Cytal Lite

The Cytal Lite is an exceptionally lightweight and well-ventilated helmet that offers climbers outstanding comfort and protection in the mountains. Our lightest helmet to date, the Cytal Lite is a true climbing helmet with large, open ventilation channels to maximize heat dissipation from the entire head area during slower ascents. To ensure safety while reducing weight, the helmet features an exposed EPS shell with an external PC lining only where needed for added structural stability. The helmet has a wing similar to those on its sister helmets, the Cytal and Cytal Carbon, but smaller to allow more heat to escape upwards and out of the helmet while climbing. Even the interior of the helmet has been optimized for weight. The padding at the front of the head has an open structure that allows more air to flow around the forehead, keeping weight to a minimum. A lightweight adjustment system is also included, making it easy to achieve a secure and comfortable fit.

• Extremely lightweight. Weighing only 180 g (+/-5 g) in size M (safety standard EN1078), this is our lightest helmet to date.
• Structurally stable: The combination of shell and inner lining ensures improved structural integrity and offers ultimate lightweight impact protection.
• Lightweight EPS lining: A low-density EPS lining keeps the weight as low as possible while still providing impact protection.
• Lightweight in-mold PC shell: The outer PC shell has been reduced wherever possible and covers the inner lining only where absolutely necessary, in order to save as much weight as possible.
• Open padding structure: The comfort padding at the front of the helmet consists only of vertical pads, allowing more air to flow over the forehead and keeping the weight low.
• Integrated wing: A thinner integrated wing helps control the airflow through and around the helmet, improving helmet ventilation.
• Lightweight straps: Thanks to the lightweight straps, the helmet sits securely.
• Adjustable fit: A lightweight, adjustable fit system makes it easy for every user to find a secure and comfortable fit.
