The Bullit was built for the longest and most demanding trails. For roots, rocks, jumps and steep descents that you want to tackle with a lot of suspension travel. With the support of the Shimano STEPS system, we can now cycle a few more steep steps and reach new challenges together beyond the bike parks and shuttle routes. While the Heckler focuses on all-round performance for long trail tours, the Bullit is a bike for rough terrain. 170mm travel, 38 mm fork and DoubleDown tires mean downhill performance without compromise. With more suspension travel and more aggressive geometry, the Bullit is aimed at more action and wilder trails compared to the Heckler. It was the successes of the Syndicate team that opened our eyes to the MX concept when developing the Bullit. The sovereignty and hunger for speed of the 29er front wheel are retained, with at the same time greater agility and improved controllability. It also allows us more flexibility in the chainstay length - for the right balance of handling and climbing ability, which is particularly relevant on an e-bike . More freedom of movement over the rear wheel on steep descents is another advantage of the MX setup. The wilder trails are usually high up on the mountain. The Shimano STEPS EP8 motor is lighter than its predecessor, has more power (85Nm instead of 75Nm), less installation space (-10%), less friction (-50%), higher heat resistance, a stronger trail mode and improved efficiency. Together with Shimano's most powerful battery (630Wh), the Bullit offers more performance and range for longer and rougher trails.
