A revolution in tire technology: The latest development from the Schwalbe Lab. Schwalbe has developed new MTB tires with radial tire technology – an innovation never before seen in bicycle tires! The foundation is a completely redesigned casing construction. Advantages: More grip for even greater safety, more comfort thanks to increased damping, and a larger contact patch with the ground.

In developing the Albert, Schwalbe's engineers utilized the insights gained from the development of the Tacky Chan. The fundamental question: What should a tire look like to provide me with maximum safety in every situation? The shoulder lugs from the Tacky Chan were adopted and ensure extended braking edges, durability, and good lateral force transmission. Overall, the tire is more compact and rounded. There are only two different lug types. Combined with the larger contact patch of radial tires, this gives you exceptional control while riding, whether braking or accelerating. The tire adapts extremely well."
