The RD-M8260 model expands the wireless Deore XT range with an e-MTB-compatible rear derailleur option. Unlike its counterpart, this extremely robust 12-speed derailleur draws its power from the e-bike's main battery. However, the proven wireless shifting technology, along with other strengths of the RD-M8250 derailleur, is retained. For example, the RD-M8260 also utilizes the Shadow ES construction, which allows for a slim, wedge-shaped, low-profile design. The automatic return function, which instantly resets the derailleur to its original position in the event of an impact, is also included.
