Starting with a high-quality E5 alloy frame and full carbon FACT fork, we've fitted the Diverge Comp E5 with our Future Shock 1.5 for a fast, confident and comfortable ride on road, off-road and over thick gravel. SRAM's new 12-speed Apex groupset shifts smoothly on any terrain, and Axis Elite alloy wheels with Pathfinder Pro 42mm tires add even more capability and versatility.
Our premium E5 aluminum frame provides a stiff, lightweight and durable platform. Combined with our full carbon FACT fork, the Diverge E5 becomes a light, lively and versatile bike that's ready to attack any surface.
We've thrown the status quo of gravel geometry out the window. The new Diverge has the most progressive geometry we've ever developed for a drop bar bike, giving riders a capable and stable bike off-road that still feels responsive and agile on the road. We've increased the reach of the frame, introduced a slacker head tube and a longer offset fork. All of this delivers incredible confidence and a plush feel off-road, while using shorter stems keeps the overall cockpit length the same and keeps the steering lively. We've kept the bike's bottom bracket low for increased stability, but high enough to use with 650b wheels if that's what you're into.
We've equipped the Diverge with plenty of rack mounts, including fork and top tube mounts, to ensure you can carry everything you need, no matter how far you ride or how long you plan to be on the road.
Nothing shows off a bike's capability like tire clearance, so we gave the new Diverge 47mm of tire clearance with a 700c wheel and 2.1" with a 650b wheel. Thanks to a drive-side chainstay with a machined aluminum carrier behind the chainrings, we've created clearance without using a fragile chainstay design or increasing chainstay length.
