Just because a win in the XC World Cup isn't on your to-do list doesn't mean you don't value performance and comfort. The Recon 2.0 is your shoe. Inspired by the S-Works Recon and engineered with Body Geometry comfort and efficiency, the Recon 2.0 puts all that performance within reach. Thanks to our exclusive STRIDE toe flex technology, the nylon sole utilizes a TPU-injected forefoot for natural movement off the bike, but at the same time offers a 6.0 stiffness index for in-saddle performance. We've also raised the heel to provide an even more natural feel when walking. To ensure traction off the bike on wet or dry, gravel or dirt surfaces, we've covered the nylon sole with our SlipNot compound. When traction in wet conditions is needed, you can also rest assured that the XPEL mesh used in the Recon 2.0 won't take on water and dries exceptionally quickly. No more wet shoes the morning after a soggy ride. An L6 snap Boa and velcro forefoot closure provide micro-adjustable comfort with a secure fit engineered for all-day comfort and performance whether your ride requires open gravel, twisty singletrack, and even more than your fair share of carry sections.
