Regardless of your position on the bike, you benefit from the gentle and smooth handlebar suspension between the stem and head tube with 20 mm of travel. The Future Shock provides a smooth handlebar and more control so you can ride faster, safer and more confidently.

The unique lowered seat clamp design allows the seat post more freedom of movement and increases horizontal shock deflection. The Pavé seat post specifically controls this deflection for optimal vertical compliance. Together, the clamp and seat post form our AfterShock technology, which, in combination with the stiff rear triangle, ensures a smooth ride without loss of efficiency.

The Roubaix SL8 is the smoothest road bike our Ride Science team has ever tested. With the Future Shock 3.3 you can move quickly over bumps without changing your center of gravity. PERFORMANCE: The Roubaix SL8 is our most aerodynamic endurance road bike - with new aero shapes from our Free Foil library and lower seatstays. Thanks to Premium FACT 12r Carbon, the frame weighs only 825 grams, making it 50 grams lighter, Rider-First Engineered and uses all the knowledge gained from the development of the Aethos, the lightest series frame in the world.
