The Status 160 is a whole new way of thinking about having the most fun possible on two wheels - even if that means they're different sizes. A 29" wheel up front offers maximum cornering traction and the best possible rollover, while a 27.5" rear wheel brings shorter chainstays - and the downhill party. Paired with our playful mixed-wheel-size trail geometry, this makes for a blast. Bike parks, trail blasting and just letting go! We've rounded off the Status 160's fun factor with steadfast brakes, an X-Fusion Manic seatpost, theFox FLOAT 36 Rhythm fork paired with a FLOAT X Performance shock - the first frame with everything you need to keep the party going. On top of that, there's our proven, active FSR suspension.

With its all-fun mixed-wheel trail geometry and no unnecessary frills, the Status features an FSR rear suspension system made from our durable and resilient M5 aluminum, so it doesn't just take a hit, it keeps asking for more.

The FLOAT 36 Rhythm from Fox with Grip damper offers impressively controlled handling with plenty of trail feeling. The two-position sweep adjustment ensures that the FLOAT 36 Rhythm makes use of the 160 mm suspension travel in almost any terrain, while 36 mm stanchions promise plenty of stiffness for precise handling at the limit.

The high-quality chassis generates enormous speed on the trail. In order to be able to slow this down again, we have installed the tried and tested Code R brakes from SRAM on the bike. Forged four-piston brake calipers offer high braking power, while 200 mm brake discs at the front and rear make fading a thing of the past.
