DESIGNED BY RIDERS: Each setup is built around a super-strong M5 aluminum frame and durable aluminum wheels. Robust suspension, powerful brakes and popular drivetrain options complete the various models. Perfect for absorbing big bumps, enabling smooth pedaling and delivering massive stopping power. This bike isn't for weight fetishists - it's for riders who push the boundaries of technical progress and want even more.

RIDE DYNAMICS TUNED: Before the STATUS 2 arrives at your home or at your trusted bike shop, it is specially tuned by our Specialized Ride Dynamics team - a team that lives and breathes mountain bike suspension. In short: The characteristics of the shock are designed to ideally complement the kinematics of the new STATUS 2.

CUSTOMIZABLE: Each STATUS 2 model has elegantly packaged flip chips (on the Horst link, near the rear axle) that allow the rider to precisely tune the geometry of the frame to suit the desired riding style or terrain. The bikes are shipped in the high position, but can be "flipped" to lower the bottom bracket height by 8mm and slacken the head angle by half a degree.
