The MD Line – Maximum Relief

The MD Line stands for maximum relief of sensitive areas and the 602 MD® active 2.1 offers the optimal pressure distribution according to medical criteria for trekking and touring bikes. The relief of the perineal area is very high at 80% and is normally sufficient for, for example, an age-related enlarged prostate. Your doctor can also advise you on this.

The 602 MD active 2.1 has an improved, lighter saddle shell, a larger adjustment range and the completely newly developed technology for the Comfort active system, which can now be adjusted using a switch function. The ability to attach bags is also new. The new 602 MD offers more comfort with the same level of relief and a slightly narrower saddle nose.

active – Comfort saddle technology

Thanks to the proven SQlab active system, the saddle follows the pedaling movement, increasing comfort, mobilizing the intervertebral discs and minimizing pressure on the sit bones. The active movement can be regulated in two stages using the new switch function.

MD Line

More relief - less pressure. The MD Line was developed for maximum relief of sensitive areas and enables pressure distribution according to medical criteria. MD stands for maximized dip and, in combination with the high, classic step shape, distributes the body weight across the sitting bones.

This and the CrMo steel struts make the MD Line suitable for heavy riders. If relieving pressure on the perineum is not your priority, but rather comfort for the sit bones, we recommend the ERGOLUX® series, in which the 602 is also available.
