With just one gear lever, you no longer have to worry about the right gear combination. You can simply concentrate on driving and switch through the 11 gears intuitively. In combination with the APEX 1 11-42 cassette, the 1-speed drive is in no way inferior to a 2-speed drive with an 11-28 cassette in terms of gear range. This means that even the steepest inclines are no problem with the Apex 1 group.
