The latest trick from component giant SRAM is called XX1! The Americans are once again showing their unstoppable desire to dominate the circuit market! As soon as 2x10-speed drives became popular, SRAM is now upping the ante. 1x11 is the latest evolution in the shifting sector for MTBs. In this way, SRAM is taking into account the skyrocketing popularity of enduro racing worldwide, as this sector is usually ridden with a chainring anyway. However, with the existing double gear ratios, long and steep climbs are more of a frustration than a pleasure.
